The Yusi Family would like to welcome all of you unwitting visitors into our family site. Here is a recent portrait taken on March 24, 1997. The family is composed of Genlinus ("Gene") his wife Maria Aurora ("Au"), and their two children, Jean-Michael and Marie Genevieve.
Genlinus D. Yusi was born in Quezon City on September 27, 1964 and finished his elementary education at the Ateneo De Manila in Loyola Heights, Quezon City in 1978 and his high school education at the University of the Philippines Integrated School in Diliman in 1982. He finished his pre-med Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 1986. In 1990, he finished as a Doctor of Medicine at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine where he is also a member of the UP Medical Students Society and the Phi Kappa Mu fraternity batch 1987. He took his internship from 1990 to 1991 at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital Medical Center. Currently he is a senior Urology Fellow at the Division of Urology of the National Kidney & Transplant Institute of the Philippines.
Maria Aurora A. Yusi was born on June 11, 1969 in San Mateo Rizal. She finished her elementary school at the San Mateo Elementary School in 1982. She graduated from high school at the Roosevelt College HS in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Centro Escolar University in Manila in 1990. She started practicing her nursing career at the then National Kidney Institute in 1991. In 1993, she was transferred to the Human Organ Preservation Effort (H.O.P.E.) which is the primary organ donation program of the presently named, National Kidney & Transplant Institute of the Philippines.
Jean-Michael A. Yusi is the eldest child of Gene & Au. He was born on December 19, 1993.
Marie Genevieve A. Yusi is the youngest. She was born on August 1, 1995.
